Donation Program
Living and working in a small community, we get to know our clients pretty well and we're always pleased to learn about the ways they support the causes that make this a great place. Therefore we're delighted to introduce a new program that gives our clients another way to help the organizations they love.
Subscribers to Sequoya's ITSentry Premium and Comprehensive managed service plans can designate any local non-profit organization to receive a monthly donation equal to 5% of their ITSentry service fees. They just tell us what organization to make a donation to, and every month we'll credit its account.
For all other clients that do at least $1000 in business with Sequoya during the course of the year, we will make a $25 donation in the 4th quarter to the non-profit of the client's choice.
Who is eligible to participate?
Any Sequoya client can participate.
How does a non-profit qualify?
Any organization within Sequoya's service area that is recognized as a non-profit under IRS rules will qualify. This includes civic organizations, churches, food banks, public schools, and more.
How can credits be used?
Credits can be used to purchase any product or service Sequoya offers. They may be used immediately or allowed to accumulate for larger purchases. For example, your non-profit might use the credits for ongoing support services or “save up” for a new computer. New computers can even be sold to raise funds. We'll work with the organization to make this as useful as possible.
How much does the program cost?
Nothing. Donations are made by Sequoya and our clients' bills won't change.
Can more than one business designate the same non-profit?
Absolutely. In fact, we encourage it.
How long will the program run?
At least until the end of 2008. If it works well, we'll keep it going.
Do the credits ever expire?
Yes. Unused credits in a non-profit's account will expire after a year of inactivity (i.e. no new contributions to the account). We'll try not to let that happen and will work with the organization if it's saving up for something special.
How much will Sequoya distribute through this program?
That depends on our clients, but based on our existing business we expect to donate about $4000 to area non-profits by the end of 2008.
How else can Sequoya help non-profit organizations?
If your non-profit wants to participate, we'll list it on our website to encourage clients to add their donations. And, if you're interested in making an appeal to your patrons, we can provide materials that explain the program.
